Duties: The Research Coordinator Sr. is a full-time staff member within the Basser Center for BRCA who will provide day to day oversight for a new global genetics initiative call PROMPT. This individual will also work on, and at times oversee, numerous other established projects and initiatives relating to breast cancer genetics and rare cancer genetics. This individual will be responsible for extensive survey programming utilizing a variety of software programs and will provide daily oversight of global data (both survey data and DNA specimens) collection efforts. In addition, this individual will manage the social media campaigns for several projects. Candidate must be highly organized, professional, and able to multi-task efficiently, and able to prioritize projects as appropriate. This position is contingent upon grant funding.

Qualifications: BA/BS in a scientific or related field, and 3-5 years professional experience, preferably in genetics or cancer research, or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Experience creating pedigrees (family trees) and interacting with participants with rare genetic mutations is required. Experience designing and programming complex surveys into Qualtrics, REDCap or a similar software system, is required. Qualified candidates must also have experience preparing datasets for statistical analysis.

* Experience with Microsoft Office suite required, including Excel and Access
* Experience with pedigree software such as Progeny and surveying software such as Qualtrics
* Knowledge and working experience with IRB and human research protection regulations
