Duties: The Data Analyst will join the Health Economic Data Analyst Pool (HEDAP) to support Health Services Research led by investigators and researchers at the Department of Medicine. The Data Analyst will use SAS or STATA programming skills to create analytical datasets, construct and standardize analytical variables, conduct data cleaning, provide and regularly update study reports, and perform general statistical analyses and statistical modeling. Strong teamwork and collaboration skills are needed to support multiple projects led by individual investigators within the department or from other affiliated organizations.
Position is contingent on continued funding.
Qualifications: A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Master's degree preferred. Strong data and statistical programming skills using SAS are required. Prior experience working with large health care datasets such as claims data is strongly preferred.
