REGULAR PART-TIME EMP
Duties: Research centers on cell and molecular biology of cancer cells and induced pluripotent stem cells (iPS). Research activities focus on cell culture and cell transfections with constructs for expression of various proteins of interest. Key tasks include performing fluorescent optical microscopy and Atomic Force Microscopy manipulation of live cells to mimic and elucidate the mechanism of DNA damage in cells during constrained migration in tissues. Other activities include data analysis and generation of images and plots and contributing to manuscripts preparation and writing. Occasional work on training of students and fellows is also expected
Qualifications: A Master's Degree is required Ph.D preferred and 5 years to 7 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
Good organizational and communication skills, good work ethic, ability to work independently with attention to detail. Lab experience in advanced microscopy techniques, cell culture, molecular biology, and experience tabulating and plotting data, writing manuscripts.
