The Department of Modern Languages & Literatures at St. Lawrence University invites applications for a full-time, visiting position to begin August 2017.  This position is potentially renewable for an additional year.  The position will entail teaching three undergraduate courses per semester.  The candidates should be a successful and experienced teacher who can work at all levels of an undergraduate language curriculum.  Candidates should have native or near-native command of Spanish.  Preference will be given to candidates who have completed their Ph.D. by August 15, 2017, but ABD candidates may be considered.  Specialization is open, but those with a background in peninsular literature and culture are especially invited to apply.  We welcome applications from candidates who bring diverse cultural, ethnic and national perspectives to their creative work and teaching.
