Duties: The Director of Student Programs and Communications will develop and deepen student relationships and continually innovate on services offered to students and oversee the team executing on those services. The Director will work closely with a number of important internal and external groups including faculty, students, the MBA Program Office, and alumni to achieve the goals of Career Management. In addition, the Director of Student Programs and Communications instructs, counsels, and advises MBA students on long-term career development as well as immediate job search objectives for full-time MBA positions and summer internships within specific industries or sectors. They will also oversee the programming and communications team on the execution of all programs delivered to our students, engagement of external vendors and all communications regarding information that comes from MBACM.

The Director of Student Programs and Communications will drive the strategy and oversee all aspects of educational student programs and all ways we communicate with students including emails, social media and websites. Key initiative / focus areas include Student Programming and Communications, Student website, and Resume Book.

Lastly, The Director of Student Programs and Communications will supervise his/her Recruiting Relationship Manager(s) in developing a strategic plan for maintaining the office's quick response to changes in the economy and to changes in the students' industry choices. They will work with their industry RRM(s) to cultivate and maintains key corporate/industry relationships with senior level managers and recruiters.

Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree and 7 years to 10 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Work experience or combination of experience and education in recruiting, job placement, career counseling or coaching and/or significant industry experience in consulting. MBA or other graduate degree strongly preferred. Highly motivated and dedicated individual with strong organizational and interpersonal skills preferred. Previous managerial experience required, along with an ability to work as a strong team player. Able to interact across multiple levels, and willingness to go above and beyond in order to achieve the required goals. Deep knowledge of business and business careers, and strong written and oral communication skills, are essential. Ability to travel, both domestically and internationally.
