Middle Georgia State University is seeking candidates for an Assistant Professor of English. Teaching responsibilities may include day and/or evening classes in lower and upper level English courses at any of the five campuses. The teaching load is twelve hours per semester. This position is tenure track and commences August 1, 2017. Candidate selected for employment will be subject to a background investigation.

QUALIFICATIONS: Ph.D. in English required (generalist).  Evidence of exceptional scholarly achievement/promise and excellence in teaching required.
