The Department of Educational Leadership and Technology is seeking applications for an enthusiastic and dynamic full-time lecturer in Educational Administration. Requirements for the position include administrative experience at the school and/or district level in a K-12 school setting with teaching experience at the university level preferred. Primary responsibilities include, but not limited to: teaching graduate level courses in educational leadership; have demonstrated ability to teach courses in two or more of the following areas:  1) supervision; 2) educational leadership; 3) diversity; 4) school finance; and 5) school law.

TYPICAL ACTIVITIES: The successful candidate will be required to teach a range of courses including graduate level courses in educational leadership for on and off campus cohorts, including the San Bernardino and Palm Desert Campuses.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: (1) Candidates must have an earned Doctorate degree in Educational Leadership (or related field) from an accredited institution and practical administrative experience at the K-12 building and/or district levels in educational leadership; (2) evidence of successful teaching and a minimum of 5 years administrative experience; (3) evidence of ability to establish a program of research and scholarly activity and presentation at the state, national and international level; (4) willingness to travel within the region to advise and recruit students and teach one and off campus; (5) ability to work with state organizations in aligning course content with state mandates; (6) ability to supervise educational administration fieldwork, independent studies and focused student research.   

Desired qualifications include; teaching experience at the university level; skill in online and other alternative delivery systems, a demonstrated record of research and knowledge of research methodologies, and systems; ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, willingness to teach off campus, and a commitment to and experience with diversity issues.

Preferred qualifications: possession of a Professional Administrative Services Credential (or equivalent).
