The Associate Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs assists the UMS Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and the entire UMS leadership team in coordinating an array of responsibilities in analysis, planning, and implementation of strategic, academic priorities across the seven UMS universities. 

The successful candidate will have doctorate or terminal degree in relevant field; minimum of 6 years’ experience in higher education administration, preferably including 4 years of experience at Dean, Associate Provost, Associate VP, or higher level; demonstrated commitment to public statewide higher education institutions; direct experience with: distance/online education, institutional research, and student success; record of leadership in strategic planning activities; experience with key metrics for curriculum delivery, development and evaluation.

The salary range is competitive, based on qualifications and experience.
