Position Information: The Financial Services Analyst serves as an integral part of the Library Planning and Budget Team and is responsible for processing and servicing a variety of administrative and financial transactions and services including procurement, travel/entertainment, accounting, data collection, entry, analysis and reporting.
Minimum Requirements: Ability to perform accurate, detailed work.

Ability to function effectively as a member of a team.
Working knowledge of financial processes, policies and procedures.

Ability to adapt to changing priorities.
Ability to accurately apply a wide variety of policies and procedures.
Strong knowledge of financial data management and reporting systems.
Proficiency in the use of spreadsheet and database software.
Skills to provide coaching and mentoring to support staff.
Strong interpersonal skills, analytical skills, service orientation, active listening, critical thinking, attention to detail, ability to multi-task in a high volume environment, organizational skills, effective verbal and written communication skills, sound judgment and decision making.

Preferred Qualifications: Intermediate knowledge and understanding of internal control practices and their impact on protecting University resources.
Knowledge of UC policies and procedures related to finance, purchasing and travel.
