The Resident Director (RD) fosters and facilitates an inclusive community focused on student learning and success. The Resident Director coordinates and administers all aspects of a residential learning program in one of our diverse residential settings. Additionally, Resident Directors serve as an instructor for a leadership course for prospective staff candidates and the opportunity to teach FYE 1220 in their second year. Opportunities may exist to manage a living learning community.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Ability to move objects up to 25 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation; effective communication (verbal and written), organization and human relations skills; ability to work well in a diverse environment; proficiency with computer and Microsoft Office Applications software including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases; successful completion of background investigation prior to employment.
Master’s degree in higher education, student personnel, counseling or similar field.
Work experience in college student housing at the graduate level.
Salary Range: $31,000
