The Assistant, Associate, or Professor of Family Medicine will function as a member of the Department of Family Practice and Community Medicine, and will be expected to enhance patient care and the education of healthcare professionals. The individual will report directly to the Chair of the Department of Family and Community Medicine.

Specific responsibilities will include the following:
1. Provide direct patient care
2. Promote and facilitate value-based practice operations, including, but not limited to, Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) operations
3. Assist in teaching of medical students, residents and students in other healthcare fields in the Family Medical Center, other ambulatory care settings, and on the department's hospital service
4. Serve on applicable Departmental, University Hospitals and College of Medicine committees as assigned.
5. Participate in the on-call schedule and attending on the hospital inpatient service
6. Participate in scholarly work related to his/her clinical and/or teaching activities
7. Participate in continuing education programs for the College of Medicine.
