 <p>Assist the DLI team with new offerings of Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs). An integral member of the DLI team, a unit of BU created to address challenges and harness opportunities associated with the transformation of the higher education landscape brought forth by digital learning technologies. Report to and work closely with the Director of DLI in support of the Initiative. Work with the DLI team and faculty participants to understand the scope of MOOC projects; review materials, timelines, activities, and documentation. Support MOOC projects throughout the course life cycle by scheduling and attending project meetings and taking detailed minutes; tracking timelines and schedules; and preparing project communication documentation as needed. Maintain detailed record of project activities and retain records upon completion; report on progress as dictated by project demand; effectively communicate or proactively address, as appropriate, project issues and risks. Effectively and accurately communicate relevant task or project information, such as progress status and issues to DLI team, project collaborators and relevant stakeholders. Proactively communicate ideas for improving team processes with a positive and constructive attitude. Assist the DLI team with other related tasks, as necessary. This is a full-time, temporary position for the duration of a large MOOC initiative.</p> <p><b>Required Skills</b></p> <p>B.A./B.S. and a minimum of 6 months of project assistance or coordinating experience. Experience and strong interest in working in the field of education. Strong organizational and time management skills; exceptional attention to detail; genuine interest in gaining experience with continuous process improvement. High resourcefulness, with the ability to make sound judgments often with only partial information. Exceptional ability to troubleshoot, adjust priorities and proactively tackle task- or project-related challenges to maximize timely product delivery. Strong ability to effectively communicate with various constituencies and stakeholders. An enthusiastic thrive to create order from chaos; demonstrated commitment to professional honesty, empathy, and ability to build strong relationships that lead to mutually successful project outcomes. Demonstrated ability to be flexible, diligent, highly competent and adaptable to change; enthusiasm for working in an agile environment. Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team based environment.</p>
