Assistant Professor of Cyber Security

Description/Job Summary

This position will be responsible for:

The instruction of students in the discipline of Cyber Security. The Assistant Professor of Cyber Security will also participate in departmental and college wide activities that are in alignment with the mission and vision of Baltimore City Community College.

This position reports to the Associate Dean of Business and Technology.

Required Qualifications



  • Master's degree in Information Systems Security, Cyber Security, Information Assurance, Network Security or related field;
  • Three (3) years' of related teaching experience.

The final candidate(s) are subject to a pre-employment background check.

Preferred Qualifications



  • Doctoral degree in Information Systems Security, Information Systems Security, Information Assurance, Cyber Security, Network Security or related discipline.
  • Two (2) years' of experience multicultural higher education setting.
