ASSOCIATE DEAN'S ADMINISTRATOR, School of Education, Financial Affairs (4217/A2317)
Provide professional level support for a wide range of projects for the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs, Associate Dean of Faculty Affairs, Associate Dean for Research, and the Associate Dean for Student Affairs in the School of Education. Coordinate faculty searches with the search committee chairs. Oversee the process for full-time and part-time faculty appointments and re-appointments. Provide support in administering the faculty merit process, workload process, and the promotion of tenure and non-tenure track faculty. Manage academic program reviews that are conducted within the School of Education. Coordinate and manage course evaluations for the fall and spring semesters.
B.A./B.S. Strong spreadsheet and database skills. Proven decision-making abilities. Demonstrated time management skills. Ability to multi-task and work independently with excellent project management skills. Exceptional communication skills including writing, editing, and proofreading. Diplomacy and sensitivity to needs of associate deans and faculty. Ability to prioritize projects and attention to detail. One to three years of administrative experience, preferably in an academic setting.
