Associate Director of Operations & Technology Services

Position Overview
The Student Financial Aid Office of Baylor University is seeking a strong leader with knowledge and understanding of software architecture and design principles. This position is responsible for providing leadership for the operations and technical team to ensure the financial aid operations process functions efficiently to meet the needs of the office and students at Baylor. Additional responsibilities include serving as the office liaison with Information Technology Services programming staff as well as overseeing the preparation of all required reports and applications for funds for federal, state, institutional and other funding sources.

Additionally, the successful candidate for this position will have:

  • Knowledge of financial aid practices and policies
  • The ability to analyze large complex datasets
  • Intermediate/expert level knowledge of SQL programming language
  • Experience working with and understanding of relational database and query languages


Qualifications
A Bachelor's Degree, three years relevant work experience, and a Christian faith are required. A Master's Degree is preferred.
