Job Description:

The University of Florida Department of Medicine, Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition, part of UF Health, the Southeast's most comprehensive academic health center, invites applicants for a full-time Ast/Aso/Full Professor, tenure/non-tenure track faculty position in general gastroenterology with a VA 8ths appointment to the Malcolm Randall VA Medical Center. Rank and Tenure status will be commensurate with qualifications.

Clinical duties would include weekly outpatient clinics, performing endoscopic procedures, and staffing of the GI inpatient and consult services at Malcolm Randall VA Medical Center. Education of the fellows and equal participation in night, weekend and holiday is expected. There are numerous collaborative research opportunities and established laboratories within the division.

The Gainesville region has an inexpensive cost of living, nationally ranked middle and high schools, and superb weather with multiple year-round recreational opportunities. 

Advertised Salary:

Salary is negotiable, commensurate with education and experience.

Minimum Requirements:

The ideal applicant will be board certified or board eligible in Gastroenterology with a focus on General Gastroenterology and Endoscopy; and eligible for a Florida Medical License.
