Pending approval and funding for Fall 2017, the Department of English and Modern Languages invites applications for an Assistant / Associate Professor to teach writing (poetry, creative non-fiction, technical, style, grammar) and/or literature half time and to serve as editor of Lamar University Literary Press part-time. We hope that this person will eventually take over the editing of Press.

Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Candidates should have teaching, scholarly or creative publications and editing experience. For Associative Professor level consideration, candidate should have some experience at a tenure track position. All candidates should have some training in teaching composition and some experience teaching online courses. Candidates should have a terminal degree at the time of appointment.
