Robert P. Dana Emerging Writer Fellowship at the Center for the Literary Arts, Cornell College

Cornell College, a private undergraduate liberal arts college, invites applications for a two-year fellowship appointment.  The fellowship is a half-time varied-hours position to be held over the nine months of each academic year. Responsibilities include helping administer the Center for the Literary Arts, helping run the Visiting Writers Series, assisting with the publishing of Open Field, the college's long-running literary journal, public readings, and teaching two courses, typically a combination of an Introduction to Creative Writing and a First Year Writing course. MFA in Creative Writing or Ph. D. with creative writing dissertation, some teaching or administrative experience, and publication in literary journals required; experience with a letterpress printing press desirable. The fellowship offers an annual salary of $25,000 and benefits, including an affordable on-campus housing option.  Appointment to begin in August 2017.
