Field Coordinator

Job Summary: The School of Social Work invites applications for an Academic Professional position to serve in a field coordinator capacity in our Field Education office. This academic professional faculty position will include recruitment and evaluation of appropriate field learning sites; placement of students in practicum sites, field liaising; and teaching multiple field courses. Extensive travel to field sites in both the Athens and metropolitan Atlanta areas is required.

Minimum Qualifications: The successful candidate must have a MSW degree and a minimum of 5 years of post-graduate social work practice experience; social work license and prior experience in field education preferred. Prior experiences in administration, social work practice, student supervision, and a working knowledge of the Council on Social Work Education 2015 Educational Policies and Accreditation Standards are desirable. Preferred Qualifications: Linkages, knowledge, and/or experiences in the professional social service community of metro Atlanta and in the Athens area are strongly desired.
