General Description of Position: The Kansas State University Department of Anatomy & Physiology with the College of Veterinary Medicine is hiring a full-time, term Research Assistant or Research Associate.  The successful applicant will work on research projects for adjuvants and animal vaccine development. The incumbent is required to work with research scientists in the lab to do cell culture, western blot, ELISA, PCR, and other molecular and biochemical assays. Required Minimum Qualifications: A bachelor's degree in Biology or related sciences along with a minimum of one year of laboratory experience is required for the Assistant level. A master's degree in Biology or related sciences is required for the Associate level. The successful applicant must be highly motivated and independent with excellent communication and organizational skills. Preferred Qualifications: Preference will be given to those with experience in one of the following areas: cell culture and/or ELISA.
