Job Summary: The University of Georgia's Terry College of Business invites applications for a non-tenure-track faculty position in the Department of Finance, at the Lecturer rank, beginning fall 2017, with an anticipated starting date of August 4, 2017. We seek individuals with a strong commitment to and competency for superior teaching. The position is a teaching position, with expected participation in service activities appropriate to the rank. Research is not a component of this position. All candidates must have a PhD degree in finance or a related discipline. Candidates must have a demonstrated interest and great ability in teaching in the field of finance. The position is renewable based on performance and promotion to Senior Lecturer is possible after six years of service. Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications. A successful candidate must be able to teach at the undergraduate and MBA levels. The normal load is six to eight 3-credit classes per academic year and may include large lecture courses.
