Job Summary: 1. Coordinate the undergraduate major in Agricultural Education on the Tifton Campus 2. Recruit, retain, and advise students for the Agricultural Education major with the purpose of producing highly qualified Agricultural Education Teachers. 3. Support and grow Agricultural Education on the UGA Tifton Campus and South Georgia. 4. Engage state Agricultural Education clientele through outreach activities. 5. Advance the vision and mission of ALEC and Agricultural Education in Georgia. 6. Teach foundational graduate and undergraduate courses in Agricultural Education. 7. Support graduate programs within ALEC. 8. Demonstrate scholarship through externally funded grants and refereed journal publications to advance the theory and practice of agricultural education. 9. Support the department in its mission of promoting food, environmental, and social sustainability. 10. Serve the department, college, university, and agricultural education community.

Minimum Qualifications: 1. Doctor of philosophy degree in Agricultural Education with scholarship and experience in line with the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. 2. A minimum of three years of agricultural education middle or secondary teaching experience. 3. Evidence of excellent teaching, research, and service with demonstrated ability to engage in a scholarly community and secure external funding to support creative work focused on teaching and learning theory and practice.
