Duties: The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidate as a Penn Medicine Clinician (PMC). The position is based at Penn Medicine Chestnut Hill. This appointment will be initially for one (1) year and continuation during that time period and renewal is based on satisfactory performance. Responsibilities will primarily include seeing cardiology outpatients and performing procedures at the Penn Medicine Chestnut Hill cardiology practice, and you will also be responsible for providing inpatient consultations at Chestnut Hill Hospital. As a member of the Chestnut Hill cardiology practice, you will be expected to perform and interpret ECGs, echocardiograms, and nuclear cardiology studies. There will be an opportunity to provide out-patient services at Penn Medicine Valley Forge. Applicants must be board certified/eligible in Cardiovascular Medicine and have a strong clinical background, interest in noninvasive studies, like to teach and participate in community events. Qualifications: Highly advanced professional discipline. M.D. or equivalent doctoral degree and 3 years to 5 years of experience required. License to practice medicine without restriction or limitation in Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. DEA licensure.
