Duties: The Associate Director of Operations will monitor the revenue and expenditures of the Fox Leadership Program, Fox Leadership International (FLI), and the Program for Research on Religion and Urban Civil Society (PRRUCS), including creating and managing various data tracking tools to produce regular financial reports, managing external vendors, and supervising Concur activity. The Associate Director will also arrange and book all air and ground travel for each of the programs.

The Associate Director will create and manage various data tracking tools to produce regular program status reports, supervise the receptionist, process international payments, and implement internal office accountability systems. The Associate Director will also work with the directors to update and maintain the Fox Leadership website.

The Associate Director will work with the directors of the Fox Leadership Program, FLI, and PRRUCS to: identify appropriate fellowship placements; recruit, interview and select Fellows; draft appointment letters and MOUs; and work with the Business Office and other Penn offices to ensure that the Fellowships meet all applicable Penn protocols.

The Associate Director will work with the directors on all phases of the development and implementation of projects for FLI including the China-U.S Partnerships for Educational Advancement and Cultural Exchange (PEACE) initiative, Global Leadership programs, and related projects.

The Associate Director will assist as needed with the work of Fox Faith and Service Partners and PRRUCS, including fellowship placements and running public events.

The Associate Director will participate in the development of publications and videos produced by the Fox Program including drafting documents and helping to design the reports.

The Associate Director will perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field and three to five years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience are required. Master's degree and significant project management experience, preferably in a higher education setting, are strongly preferred. Attention to detail, good writing skills, and excellent computer skills required including proficiency with Excel, Power Point and Word. Familiarity with Vimeo and Skype a plus. The Associate Director of Operations must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to move seamlessly between assignments for Fox Leadership International, the Fellowship Program, and Fox Faith and Service Partners and PRRUCS. The Associate Director must have a strong academic record and commitment to quality in all aspects of the job. Ability to travel internationally on an as needed basis is required. Some evening and weekend work is required.
