SR APPLICATION DEVELOPER IDENTITY & ACCESS MGMT
Duties: Work with the Identity and Access Management team within ISC - Technology Services; respond to multiple priorities; main responsibilities include: customer responsiveness and consulting on identity management related integrations, software deployment, testing, implementation, and systems administration where appropriate. Serve as one of the main interfaces with internal/external clients for the Identity and Access Management Team and its services. Externally facing duties include troubleshooting customer problems, identifying root cause of issues, and providing guidance for customers. Internally, the position is responsible for systems administration, high availability of services, testing and scripting, as needed, as well as service configuration management. Consult with peer members of the Identity and Access Management Team for direction and to contribute to the overall improvement of services. Maintain service documentation for existing services and provide new documentation as required. Provide regular communications on project status and progress to ISC management, as well as extensive collaboration with both internal and external customers.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and a minimum of three years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Proven experience with and working knowledge of Unix systems administration, programming, and information security best practices. Experience with modern software engineering methodologies, and client/server architecture and with software development lifecycles. Strong organizational and verbal & written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to manage several competing priorities, a strong customer service orientation, and attention to detail. Basic knowledge about relational databases and SQL. Prior experience with single sign-on, authentication, authorization, and identity management services and professional programming experience with C, Perl, and/or Python preferred.
