FINANCIAL ADMIN COORD
Duties: Provide varied financial and administrative support to ensure the smooth daily operations of the Penn Women's Center (PWC). Duties include, but are not limited to: coordinate, monitor and process all transactions related to the office's financial activities including purchasing, payables, reimbursements, purchasing card, travel (Concur), journal entries and special events payments (including honoraria); manage PWC space reservations and lactation room usage; assist with hiring, training, supervision and remuneration of student workers; serve as petty cash custodian; set up and maintain account and transaction files and spreadsheets; assist student groups with management of their expenses/fundraising activities; supply progress reports as needed on PWC initiatives; supervise front-desk (reception) workflow and serve as point person for general inquiries, office technology equipment and facilities-related issues; occasionally represent PWC at campus resource fairs and orientation events.
Qualifications: High school graduate required, BA/BS preferred plus 5-7 years experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Experience working in a campus environment strongly preferred. Experience with Penn's financial systems (BEN, CONCUR etc.) preferred; strong knowledge of PC and Microsoft Office; knowledge of social media helpful; demonstrated strong customer service skills; excellent oral and written communications skills; excellent organizational skills; ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities; ability to multi-task and meet deadlines; ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
