Duties: The Resource Technologist will support translational research within a highly-technical resource laboratory. This individual works within a team of resource technologists to perform immunohistochemical, immunofluorescent and in situ hybridization tests in the Center. This team member will organize and maintain reagents, document all experimental details, and be responsible for maintaining quality control throughout the duration of each experiment. The position requires complex multi-tasking and the ability to work well with a diverse group of individuals. Excellent communication, record-keeping and time management are essential. The candidate will report to the technical director of the Center.

Position is contingent on continued funding.

Qualifications: This position requires a college degree, preferably in science, and 0-1 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 1-2 years of hands-on experience in an analogous laboratory situation preferred. The candidate should be able to manage several projects simultaneously and adhere to strict SOPs. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.
