Duties: Plan/perform research and administrative tasks in an evolving, medium-sized research group that concentrates in tobacco addiction research, including medication and behavioral treatment clinical trials. The successful candidate will have experience collecting research data, interacting with research participants and working well as part of a team. Experience or interest in behavioral counseling preferred but not required. Specific activities include: (1) consent participants; (2) conduct eligibility screenings and reminder calls by telephone; (3) administration of computerized laboratory tasks (4) collect samples and questionnaire data; (5) perform routine session prep work, data entry and quality assurance activities; (6) conduct behavioral and smoking cessation counseling sessions based upon IRB approved, structured protocols

Qualifications: A High School Diploma or GED and 3 years to 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Bachelor's degree preferred. The successful candidate will have experience collecting research data, interacting with research participants and working well as part of a team. The successful candidate should also possess skills in time management, attention to detail, problem solving, clear communication and work well in a fast-paced team environment. Experience or interest in behavioral counseling preferred but not required.
