Provides technical, operational and recruitment support for all University departments and performs specific assignments and analyses for the Human Resources Management department. Partners with HRIS analysts to evaluate PeopelAdmin and improve functionality. Provide technical and operational oversight of applicant tracking system. Works with all constituencies to troubleshoot problems, make recommendations and provide solutions. Coordinates placement of all job postings and reviews and approves position requisitions to ensure that the information is accurate, compliant and well written to reflect the positions scope. Makes sure that all legal language is included (e.g., if a criminal background check is required) Provides recruitment support to the Employment Representative including doing full cycle recruitment when necessary. Coordinates all job advertisements and reviews posting sources. Responsible for People Admin training and customer support and service. Provides course content for PeopleAdmin training and trains users as requested. Assists in the creation and delivery of communications to key users, HRM, faculty and staff on Peopleadmin requirements. Develops training materials and ad hoc reporting tools. Handles all H-1B and J4 Visa notices for job placements of International candidates. Tracks hiring metrics.
Bachelors Degree plus 2-5 years of related experience.
Ability to guide, teach train and measure activities that support recruitment and hiring. Technical expertise to handle the applicant tracking and HRIS systems. Discretion and accountability.
Requires excellent problem-solving, analytical, administrative, interpersonal and organizational skills. A high attention to detail is necessary is along with strong editing and proofreading skills. Ability to interact with a variety of people at all levels of the organization coupled with a demonstrated customer service orientation. Must be self-directed, able to work as a team player, meet deadlines, develop practical solutions and display good judgment and maturity. Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint and previous experience with a relational HRIS database such as PeopleSoft, Oracle or SAP required. PeopelAdmin preferred. Form design and database development and maintenance experience with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Macromedia Dreamweaver, Liquid Office and/or TeleForm and previous HR experience strongly preferred
