Duties: Documenting, monitoring, and on-going maintenance of web-based applications used by GSE students, faculty, and staff. Duties testing, documentation, debugging, and maintenance of existing and newly developed applications. Assist the team in determining functional requirements, coding, and testing new applications. Research technical solutions and identify modules and plugins to fit specific project goals and requirements. Monitor and administer applications during peak usage, providing first- and second-tier technical and application support via telephone and email, occasionally after business hours. Ensure adherence to technical, quality assurance, data integrity, and security standards. Must be passionate about using technology to solve problems and be able to get up to speed on new technologies quickly. Participate in all parts of the application lifecycle, with an emphasis on bug fixes and maintenance. The majority of development work will be in PHP with MySQL as a back end.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree (Computer Science, Mathematics or related fields preferred) and at least 1 years of experience in developing and maintaining websites or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
