GLOBAL INITIATIVES FELLOW
Duties: Reporting to the Executive Director, Global Initiatives, the Global Initiatives Fellow will be responsible for facilitating a number of projects in the global initiatives portfolio. Duties include, but are not limited to, preparing presentations and agendas, assistance with Global Inventory Reports, Global Snapshots and other divisional communications, writing documents for Global Initiatives, supporting visits by foreign delegations and partners, and timely execution of global correspondence. Global Fellow will have significant role in supporting China-related activities, including managing funding initiatives to support research and engagement, monitoring China engagement on campus, and tracking ongoing initiatives and issues. The Fellow will also support the Global Initiatives staff as needed.
Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree required with 1 to 2 of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Internship experience preferred; experience in a fast-paced office or providing support to an executive preferred; advance knowledge of computer software including Word and Excel; knowledge of PowerPoint and Outlook strongly preferred; excellent customer service skills; excellent oral and written communication skills; strong organizational skills; research experience preferred; interest and background in China required; familiarity with Mandarin preferred; knowledge of Penn preferred.
