The Program Manager will support the strategy product development and growth; including co-development of vision and corresponding roadmap for our new and existing education programs, determining which content should be prioritized and in what timeframe. The Program Manager will work with the team to align curriculum development with business goals, outcomes, and revenue targets. He/she will program a strategic and robust content production calendar with input from a variety of stakeholders across channels and business functions. He/she will ensure the delivery of high-quality programs and content to the right place at the right time with an unwavering dedication to student outcomes.
The Program Manager will work closely with the Vice President of New Ventures to strategize training protocols for instructors, subject matter experts, and content producers and will design practices, processes, and procedures which allow management of educational programs in multiple locations. The Program Manager will lead learning designers through active guidance and training on curriculum development. He/she will build and manage a content roadmap for current and future product development, identifying the key performance indicators by which the success of the student learning will be measured. He/she will work with internal stakeholders and external partners to construct clear assessment and credential strategies and measure how the offerings are performing against stated objectives and make changes as informed by data.
The Program Manager will interact on behalf of the Vice President with other senior administrators, faculty, professional staff and external constituents. He/she will manage instructional staff, subject matter experts, contractors, employees, co-ops, or others supporting the offering and set the vision for learning experiences across multiple educational formats.
The Program Manager will be dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of the learners; he/she will get first-hand learner information and use it for improvements in products and services; acting with learners in mind. He/she will establish and maintain effective relationships with learners to gain their trust and respect.
Masters degree in relevant field (education) and two to four years of project management, curriculum development, and/or classroom instruction experience in a fast-paced and customer-oriented environment or relative combination of education and experience required.
High degree of proficiency with internet and desktop software (Mac and PC), online learning including LMS software, and content development including CMS software. Sophisticated experience with Excel required.
Experience working for a start-ups and/or new product development functions within large organizations.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly-flexible, and innovative environment with an expanding role and shifting responsibilities.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.
High degree of diplomacy, customer service, and organizational skills required.
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, respond to last minute requests, solve problems, act with discretion, adapt to change and maintain professional demeanor at all times, and work independently or as part of a team.
Results driven and able to balance many competing priorities, meet tight deadlines, make informed decisions, and work extended hours as needed.
Willingness to be pro-active, take initiative and ownership, set and meet ambitious goals, and build win-win situations with the team, stakeholders, potential partners, and customers. Sound judgment and ability to deal effectively with matters of a highly visible, sensitive, and confidential nature is essential.
