Duties: This position reports to the Director of Communications for Student Registration and Financial Services and provides administrative assistance requiring considerable judgment, initiative and creativity. Responsibilities include daily review of local, national and higher education media, managing content for PennPlan online and askBEN, proofing and editing publications, managing social media content, and preparation and distribution of correspondence and reports. Responsible for coordination of special projects that require interaction with Penn organizations external to SRFS such as financial literacy outreach, and providing administrative support to projects within SRFS.

Qualifications: Associate's Degree preferred. High School Diploma or GED and 3 to 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

Ability to manage multiple projects, while maintaining high level of quality and attention to detail. Excellent customer service skills and communication skills required. Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint required, and proficiency and familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) and Google applications preferred.
