Job Description:

The Department of Mathematics at the University of Florida invites applications for non-tenure-track, nine-month, renewable lecturer positions to begin fall semester 2016. The individuals who fill these positions will contribute to the department's substantial instructional mission. This includes teaching and coordinating a large lecture course, supervising graduate assistants (including classroom observation and evaluation), and managing on-line aspects of instruction. Candidates should therefore have strong potential or demonstrated capability for effective teaching of mathematical sciences courses and coordination of multi-section lecture courses. Experience with or interest in innovative pedagogical techniques such as classroom flipping and online instruction is a plus. An earned master's degree in the mathematical sciences or equivalent is required, and an earned doctorate is preferred.

Advertised Salary:

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and includes a full benefits package.
