The campus is located on 125 acres across rolling hills in the heart of Jefferson City. It is nestled within the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains, between two lakes, and is 28 miles northeast of Knoxville. Recent academic building projects include the 2007 opening of Blye-Poteat Hall, home to the School of Family and Consumer Sciences, and a new Child Development Laboratory. In 2009 the College completed Ted Russell Hall, providing a new academic space for the School of Business.
