Today's business must apply technology in every way imaginable. That's why, at Southern Polytechnic State University, our students study the sciences and technologies in a unique, practical manner, providing an education that is career-based and balanced. Southern Polytechnic is the first and only university in Georgia to offer the nationally accredited Bachelor of Architecture degree; the first in the Southeast to offer the Bachelor of Science in Telecommunication Engineering Technology; one of only a few schools nationwide to offer a complete degree program on the Internet; and the only school in the country to award the Bachelor of Science in Surveying and Mapping.

Since our founding in 1948, the university has earned an exceptional academic reputation. But it's more than just our programs of study that make SPSU a great place to live and learn -- it's the bright students, the dedicated and experienced faculty, and our hands-on approach to education.

A superior education begins in a superior classroom. And that's where you'll find our students studying -- in some of the nation's most modern facilities. Our resources include computer-aided design labs, an interactive audio/video conference center, and testing laboratories. And our new architecture building is a study in the subject by which it was designed -- built in a way that its structural elements are exposed to display the building's functionality.
