Our College of Science and Technology is currently looking for energetic and knowledgeable individuals to fill our Graphic Design – Adjunct Faculty positions.
Primary Function: This position is best filled by a well-rounded and ambitious educator/scholar truly interested in a part-time faculty position in Graphic Design. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate understanding of the principals and fundamentals of graphic design, typography, branding, page layout, identity design, print design, web design and development, HTML5, CSS3, interactivity, presentation skills and portfolio development. Candidates will also need to have a solid understanding of the Adobe Creative Cloud software.
• Prepares, delivers, and maintains curriculum in an online format at the undergraduate level.
• Participates in program assessment.
• Performs all internal and external duties with established procedures and policies as determined by the Dean.
• Master’s Degree in graphic design or a closely related field.
• 5 years minimum relevant industry experience outside of academia.
• Experience in teaching and curriculum development at the post-secondary level across a broad and diverse spectrum of graphic design topics and courses.
• A commitment to excellence in teaching and scholastic activities.
