We are an independent, comprehensive university offering undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral degree programs and specialized courses. The annual budget exceeds $44 million. We have two campuses: the Aurora Illinois campus and the George Williams College campus on the shores of Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. The George Williams College site is more than 200 acres with a marina, 18-hole golf course, and academic and conference facilities that was acquired when Aurora University merged with the former George Williams College in 1992.
Aurora University has over 2,000 undergraduates and over 1,800 graduate students on the two campuses. About 600 students live in one of our resident facilities. Through the George Williams College of Aurora University, continuing education courses, and partnerships with local business and industry, Aurora University instructs nearly 4,000 students per year.
AU is organized into three colleges: the College of Arts and Sciences, the College of Education and the College of Professional Studies (home of the School of Nursing, the School of Health and Physical Education, the Dunham School of Business and the School of Social Work). AU is a member of the NCAA Division III and participates in nine men's and nine women's intercollegiate sports.
