Northwest Five Consortium Coordinator

The Northwest Five Consortium of Liberal Arts Colleges (NW5C), funded by the A.W. Mellon Foundation and comprising Lewis and Clark College, Reed College, Whitman College, Willamette University, and University of Puget Sound, announces the four-year position of NW5C Coordinator.

The NW5C Coordinator will be housed at Willamette University and will be responsible for administering the activities and programs of the NW5C, which are focused on faculty development and include two annual NW5C events; a fund for small, collaborative projects initiated by faculty from NW5C member colleges; and the NW5C.org website and database. The NW5C Coordinator will report to the NW5C Steering Committee, which includes the academic deans and corporate and foundation relations officers at each member college, with direct supervision from the Associate Dean for Faculty Development at Willamette University. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree and experience in program development and management, excellent communication and organizational skills, and a demonstrated ability to successfully execute projects while working under limited supervision. Experience in higher education is preferred, as are budget management experience and web editing skills.
