Chairperson Applied Science - Tenure Track
Major Duties: - Department Administration
- Provide leadership and support to the ECE Department
- Support undergraduate and graduate teaching
- Facilitate accreditation of programs
- Advocate for the ECE department with a wide range of constituencies
- Mentor faculty to achieve research excellence and augment external funding
- Advance the community between faculty and students
- Actively advance the mission of the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences
Minimum Qualifications: - Ph.D. in Electrical and/or Computer Engineering
- A sustained record of publication and research funding that merits tenure at the rank of Full Professor
- Leadership experience
- Excellent communication skills
