Posting Information: The Department of Chemistry and Physics is seeking applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor of Chemistry, effective August 2013. The candidate should have a PhD in chemistry or biochemistry at the time of hire, although an ABD candidate will be considered. He/She will teach undergraduate chemistry courses.
Western Carolina University is a 9,500-student campus in the University of North Carolina system, situated in the picturesque Cullowhee valley between the Great Smoky and Blue Ridge mountains, 50 miles west of Asheville, North Carolina, and 150 miles northeast of Atlanta. Four-season outdoor activities abound nearby. Minimum Training & Experience Requirements: The candidate should have a PhD in chemistry or biochemistry at the time of hire, although an ABD candidate will be considered. Degree must be from an appropriately accredited institution.
