WEST VIRGINIA UNIVERSITY BEHAVIORAL HEALTH FACULTY MEMBER
West Virginia University School of Medicine Department of Behavioral Medicine and Psychiatry is recruiting two open rank BC/BE adult psychiatrists to assume two full time faculty positions in Martinsburg, WV. Responsibilities for this non tenure, clinical emphasis track position include inpatient and outpatient care of adults with a wide range of psychiatric diagnoses, teaching and supervision of medical students and residents and opportunities for research.
Our Department provides a broad range of services including inpatient, outpatient, intensive outpatient, partial hospitalization, assertive community treatment, telepsychiatry and ECT. We also have a busy consult liaison service. In addition to our faculty of psychiatrists, neuropsychologists, psychologists and social workers we also employ clinical therapists and case managers. We provide training for a variety of disciplines including psychology, neuropsychology, nursing, social work, counseling and medical students.
Salary and academic rank will be commensurate with experience. The position will remain open until filled. WVU offers a high competitive and comprehensive recruitment package which includes occurrence based malpractice.
