CHAIR - FAMILY MEDICINE - WVU School of Medicine Eastern Division
The West Virginia University School of Medicine is seeking a Chair for its Department of Family Medicine - Eastern Division to lead 20 diverse multispecialty primary care faculty at three clinical sites in the eastern panhandle of WV. Applicants should possess strong leadership skills in Family Medicine, experience in community-based settings, administrative and management experience, and a demonstrated commitment to the missions of teaching, service and primary care research. The successful candidate should possess: (1) the innovation and creativity to build upon this P4 Program’s energy and expertise; 2) the commitment to excellence in patient-centered care; and 3) the capability to work with rural health system partners to improve the health of West Virginians. Applicants must be board certified in Family Medicine.
