Basic Function and Responsibilities: The University of the Virgin Islands is a historically black publicly supported land-grant institution. The College of Science and Mathematics invites applicants to apply for a full time Assistant/Associate Professor of Mathematics or Mathematics Education to begin in January, 2014.
Of particular interest to the College of Science and Mathematics are candidates who will inspire and mentor students, as well as integrate instruction with research and service. The successful candidate must have demonstrated excellence in teaching at the college level; and adaptability and genuine interest in assisting students. The candidate will also be expected to carry out normal faculty responsibilities including teaching in the College of Science and Mathematics, committee assignments and student advisement.
