Medical Scribe

The University of Toledo Medical Center is seeking to fill multiple full-time Medical Scribe positions.
These positions will facilitate patient flow through the OP Clinics and ensure an accurate, complete medical record for each patient. Qualifications: Must be a graduate of a scribe program or one year scribe experience and proof of enrollment in a scribe program; OR Must have one year coding experience or one year coding experience and proof of enrollment in a scribe program; OR Must have a diploma as a medical assistant and proof of enrollment in a scribe program. (If enrolled in a scribe program, it must be completed within 18 months of hire date.). Working knowledge of medical terminology and accepted abbreviations. Recognition of physical exam process and ability to record exam details. Computer proficiency, minimum of 30 wpm, accuracy and ability to quickly learn new applications.
