Job Description The Healthcare Process Redesign Center (HPRC) Post Doctoral Fellow will work under the general supervision of the HPRC Director who acts as the Fellow's primary mentor. The successful Fellow is expected to: 1) collaborate and consult with other health informatics/systems investigators; 2) contribute expertise in the design, conduct, analysis of health information/systems research projects; 3) participate in HPRC scientific initiatives, such as peer-reviewed professional conference presentations; 4) engage in peer review of health informatics/systems research proposals and publications; and 5) publish research results in leading peer-reviewed journals. Minimum Qualifications Required qualifications include: 1) a PhD with a research focus in health services, healthcare systems, health informatics, or related area; 2) a minimum of 2 years' research experience (including dissertation) in at least one fellowship area; 3) demonstrated ability to successfully plan and conduct research projects; 4) a record of original research dissemination in peer-reviewed sources; and 5) evidence of flexibility, creativity and excellent written and verbal skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience in multi-center research projects is preferred.
