Job Description This position assists the Palmetto College IT Support Staff in the day-to-day operations for all aspects of Information Technology for the Palmetto College. Provides technical services, troubleshoots problems, installs/maintains/writes web applications, and provides assistance to users. In addition, serves as a contact and provides assistance in the support of the operation of two-way video classrooms and technology. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field; or high school diploma and 4 years experience in office automation systems, data communications system design, installation, operation, repair, or processing of information in a data processing environment. Preferred Qualifications In addition to the minimum qualifications, candidate should have experience with Video Conferencing equipment, document management systems in a Banner environment, web development with experience using Dreamweaver, PHP, and MySQL, and with report authoring tools such as COGNOS. Must be able to communicate effectively with students, faculty, and staff - providing high-level customer service at all times.
