Job Description Provides administrative and fiscal support services for Department of Neurosurgery, USC School of Medicine. Serves as initial point of contact for patients of the clinical office based practice. Works as a member of the team in providing services to patients, public and support to clinical providers. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma and 3 years clerical accounting or bookkeeping experience, or associate's degree with 12 semester hours of accounting related courses and 1 year related experience. Minimum typing skills and working knowledge of medical terminology, ICD and CPT coding preferred. Must have prior experience with personal computers; specific experience with Mysis accounts receivable and appointments scheduler preferred. Must possess high level of oral and written communication and organizational skills. Must have ability to get along as a member of the team. Preferred Qualifications
