Job Description The curriculum coordinator will function primarily as a curriculum developer, researching assigned topics, designing training for face-to-face and online delivery, and writing curricula including facilitator manuals, participant manuals, prework, bridgework, online modules, and tests. The incumbent will also provide writing support to staff by drafting original documents, such as website test and reports, and by acting as an editor, proofreader, and writing coach. This position is established in support of expanded research activities or projects.
Three (3) positions available. Minimum Qualifications Master's degree and 1 year related experience, or a bachelor's degree and 3 years related experience.
Knowledge of curriculum design, evaluation, and training delivery methods. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Knowledge of adult learning theory. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and to function effectively on self-directed work teams. Working knowledge of relevant computer software. Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in English, social work, education or related field preferred. Experience in teaching, curriculum design, writing, or research prefered. Excellent grammar skills preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Word also preferred.
