Job Description Directs the overall technical development of new electronic classroom and classroom studio designs and in the modification of those systems dealing with the convergence of IT and broadcast video technologies; coordinates assigned projects, develops technical drawings and control system programming as needed to meet the needs of the project; develops cost estimates and proposals for clients as assigned; acts as technical liaison between UTS and our customers on assigned projects; oversees the procurement of approved equipment to meet the needs of the design for an assigned project; serves as Engineer-in-Charge (EIC) during systems implementation and testing; researches and specifies equipment for enhanced classrooms and learning spaces and develops strategies for maintaining long term systems support through resource allocation and planning. Minimum Qualifications Associate's degree in a related field and seven (7) years experience as a radio/television technician, or in the repair and maintenance of electronic broadcasting equipment; or a HS diploma and nine (9) years experience as a radio/television technician, or in the repair and maintenance of electronic broadcasting equipment.

Knowledge of the principles and techniques of planning programs and work activities in telecommunications, broadcast and data processing systems. Ability to plan and supervise the implementation of complex electronic course delivery systems. Ability to constantly keep abreast of the rapidly changing electronics industry including the introduction of new technologies. Intermediate experience using and programming custom Crestron control systems. Intermediate experience using AutoCAD design software. Preferred Qualifications Prefer Intermediate or Advanced Crestron Programming Certification, InfoComm International Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) or InfoComm International Certified Technology Specialist Designer (CTS-D).
